Vango Mining (ASX:VAN) appoints Andrew Stocks as MD

Gold exploration and development company, Vango Mining (ASX:VAN), has appointed Andrew Stocks as the Company’s new Managing Director effective from 20 January 2020.

The current Managing Director, Sean Zhou, will continue to play an active role in the Company as Deputy Chairman and Non-executive Director.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Stocks founded and was Managing Director of Australian iron ore development company Iron Road (ASX: IRD) for the past 12 years.  During this time he led the growth of the Central Eyre Iron Project in South Australia through to a $100 million definitive feasibility study.

As Managing Director, he will receive an annual salary of $375,000 per annum plus performance options.

Shares in Vango Mining (ASX:VAN) are trading 3.03 per cent higher at 17 cents.
