If all documents are provided correctly, the account can be set up and ready for trade within 2-3 business days. Please note that this does not factor the setting up of a Macquarie Cash Management Account if applicable.
To transfer shares over to your Sequoia Direct Account you will need to firstly determine were the shares are being held. If from another broker, your details must exactly match the details, you have with us to allow the transfer. This can be done with Broker to Broker Form. If the stock is issuer sponsored or details are different, you will have to do an off-market transfer. If you have more questions regarding this, please call us on 1300 363 766.
We encourage all traders to set up a Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA) which can be live linked to your trading account.
Trades are settled two business days after the trade date. E.g. If you trade on Monday, you will receive the stock/cash on Wednesday.
There are two options when it comes to placing trades. We can provide you with access to our online trading platform so that you can trade on your own, the alternative option is that placing trades through our trading desk team (1300 363 766). Please note that phone rates apply, see FSG for details.
Tailor Made Combinations (TMC) or Multi-leg Trades can only be done over the phone.

Yes, Sequoia Direct has the ability to settle trades through a variety of Margin Lending facilities. If you wish to clarify the compatibility of your Margin Lending account, please contact the trading desk at firstname.lastname@example.org
Sequoia Direct Analyser
The Sequoia Direct Analyser can be accessed via any devices as long as you have internet access. It’s easy as opening your web browser and going to CLIENT LOGIN or you can simply download the mobile App. It’s free for all Sequoia Direct Clients.
No problem, there are two ways you can do it.
1. Below the login screen there is an option to reset your password. Once you request the password reset it will email you a link to reset your password.
2. If you don’t know your username or password, just call our friendly support team on 1300 363 766.

Sequoia Direct Online doesn’t install or download files onto your computer, which means you can log in from anywhere there’s an internet connection, a browser and a recent version of Java.
