James Hardie (ASX:JHX) appoints new director

James Hardie Industries (ASX:JHX) has appointed Dr Moe Nozari as an independent non-executive director effective 6 November 2019.

Dr Nozari worked at 3M for 38 years and served as executive vice president of the consumer and office business for 7 of those years.

He is based in the United States.

The company’s chairman, Michael Hammes says that “[w]ith his strong background in new product development and innovation, he will be a valuable addition to the Board”.

Shares in James Hardie Industries (ASX:JHX) are trading 1.9 per cent lower at $24.72.
