Challenger see Leon Zweir set to retire from the board

Challenger (ASX:CGF) Chairman Peter Polson today announced that Leon Zwier will retire from the Board of Challenger and not stand for re-election as a Director at the Annual General Meeting on 31 October 2019.

He has served as an independent non-executive Director and member of the Nomination Committee since September 2006.

Masahiko Kobayashi was appointed last month and they expect to appoint a new non-executive Director to the Board in due course.

Shares in Challenger (ASX:CGF) are trading 3.42 per cent higher at $7.25.
