11 Nov 2021 - Wall St falls after inflation soars to highest since 1990. European markets despite food operator Hello Fresh falling on rival’s US acquisition. Asian markets mixed on hot inflation figures. The ASX dips for the 3rd straight day ahead of the big jobs report expected to see a fall of 50k jobs in October. Macquarie upgraded CSL’s (ASX:CSL) rating.

Wall St extends record high, NAB declares 67c div on profit beat, Orica’s is a neutral: ASX to lift

09 Nov 2021 - Mixed start to the week with the major indexes around the globe. Wall St pushed further into record territory after a bipartisan infrastructure investment bill was passed by the House of Representatives. European markets were mixed while Asian stocks reacted to China’s export figures. Back home, the local bourse snapped its 3-day winning streak as M&A emerged. Credit Suisse downgraded Orica’s rating (ASX:ORI).

08 Nov 2021 - Wall St extended its winning streak on a better-than-expected jobs report and positive results from trials of Pfizer’s Covid-19 antiviral pill. European markets rose as oil prices lifted energy stocks while International Airlines Group takes-off on Pfizer’s news. ASX had its best close on Friday since 16 September amid RBA’s November Statement on Monetary Policy. Morgan Stanley gives CSR’s (ASX:CSR) target price a boost.
