Trade deal sees global markets rise: ASX poised to open higher

17 Dec 2019 - Following positive leads from US markets, the ASX looks set to open higher. The partial trade deal between the US and China saw global share markets rise overnight. Tech and healthcare led the way in the US. Keytone Dairy (ASX:KTD) has completed the integration project between the two powder manufacturing facilities.

US-China trade deal ‘totally done’, according to Trump aide: ASX tracking 1.2% higher at noon

16 Dec 2019 - The ASX has risen at the open following some small positive leads from Wall Street. It is now tracking 1.2% higher at noon. On Friday US and Chinese officials announced they had finally agreed to the phase one agreement after an 18-month trade war. Starpharma (ASX:SPL) has received a $4.9 million R&D tax incentive refund for the 2019 Financial Year.
