Dow drops after broad sell off: ASX is set to open lower

03 Oct 2019 - Following negative leads from US markets, the ASX looks set to open lower this morning. The Dow plunged more than 450 points as Wall Street continues its rough start to the fourth quarter. Treasuries climbed. Engineering company SRG Global (ASX:SRG) says Enzo Gullotti has resigned as Executive Director from the company.

Mayne Pharma shares soar on US pill deal: ASX closes 1.5% lower

02 Oct 2019 - It has been a disappointing day of trade for the ASX. After opening in the red the local bourse continued to lose momentum to close 1.5% lower. It was good news for Mayne Pharma (ASX:MYX) though as their shares shot up today after entering into an agreement with Mithra Pharmaceuticals to commercialise a combined oral contraceptive in the US. NAB shares hit on fresh remediation charges: ASX tracking 1.3% lower at noon

02 Oct 2019 - The ASX opened lower following soft leads from Wall Street and is now tracking 1.3% lower at noon. The markets dropped on poor manufacturing result from the US and weak manufacturing data from Europe. ResApp Health (ASX:RAP) reports that ResAppDx-EU, the world’s first smartphone-based diagnostic test for acute paediatric respiratory disease, has received Australian Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA) approval.
