A number of stocks lifted the market, the Vocus Group (ASX:VOC) is trading over 10% and Flight Centre has risen 10% after reporting earlier showing their NPAT landed within guidance. Meanwhile, Webjet (ASX:WEB) is over 11% lower and Bingo Industries (ASX:BIN) has lost over 7%. BINGO Industries (ASX:BIN) today announced its full year results showing statutory NPAT down 41.4% to $38 million.

22 Aug 2019 - The ASX is set to rise at the open, after positive leads from US markets overnight. Bonds dropped after the minutes from the latest meeting of Federal policymakers showed that they discussed cutting interest rates more aggressively. Europe also gained over night. Yancoal Australia (ASX:YAL) reported profit before tax of $492m for the half-year ended 30 June 2019, a $47m decrease on the prior corresponding period.
