05 Jan 2022 - Wall St closed mixed as the Dow reset a record high. Technology shares underperformed as market participants rotated back into value stocks. Energy stocks soared after OPEC+ agree to boost output. European markets played catch up as travel stocks take-off. Japanese stocks outperformed led by gains from auto vehicle players like Toyota. Lithium stocks took the spotlight on the ASX.

Dow, S&P 500 hit record high on Wall St surge, giving summer lead to ASX: SPI futures point to fall

04 Jan 2022 - Wall St kicks off 2022 on a positive start with the Dow and S&P 500hitting a fresh record high. Nasdaq outperformed. Apple touches US$3 trillion market cap intraday while shares in Tesla accelerates on 2021 delivery record. SPI futures point to a fall as of last day of 2021, but gives warm lead to ASX today. Gold players fell, energy giants soared, as tech titans galloped.
